Like each of our pieces, this one is entirely made by our own hands.
Individually sewn, drawn, and painted, this piece is made in a limited
edition of 9. Each piece is signed, dated, and numbered by the artists
--Dylan and Jo.



Hughes is made of quilter’s muslin that has been
painted and sanded, then painted and sanded
again, giving the fabric a rich patina that
feels like old leather.



His wings are button jointed, allowing them to be posed.



His legs and feet are shaped like landing gear
and are made of wood. We decided to not to
make the wheels spin so that he would be extra
stable when on display.
